Human centric Tech
Build cool sh*t.
These images are inspiration for what I aim to build, not images of things already built.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Qin?
Qin is a combination of a body suit containing sensors and actuators and an LLM agent with an attached knowledge-base that improves human capabilities.
Can I access Qin?
I document everything that I build on this site. If you want to access Qin, build it. Right now I’m only researching whats possible eventually maybe it will become available to buy.
When will Qin be complete?
I envisage Qin taking years to build to a state that I’m happy with. As technology progresses I’m sure I will continue to add to Qin. Maybe it will never be truly finished.
Can I get involved?
Simply send me a message, I’m not sure what the model will be for contributing at the moment. Maybe there will be a github repository eventually but for now I’ll keep it on an ad hoc

Personal Tenets
01
Bias for doing, don’t get stuck
I often get stuck in planning things or imagining new ideas. I aim to ‘just build’, get things done.
02
Fail fast, don’t wait
I should try things and see if they work. If they fail then it gives more opportunity to try more things.
03
Document everything, writing is free
Part of the ecosystem I envision means I need to store all my knowledge somewhere.
04
Keep it simple, stupid
Everything can be improved, streamlined, made more efficient. Don’t worry about that until you have something working
05
Keep it cheep, money ain’t free
I don’t have infinite resources, keep it cheap when you can.
06
Software works forever, hardware doesn’t
Where you can, keep information and logic in code rather than hardware. General wear and tear will break hardware eventually.
